All Iowa Boat registrations expired April 30. The new registrations are a 3 year rotation. If you did not renew your boat, you will now owe a $5.00 penalty.

Boaters Take Note: Casual sales (sales between individuals) are subject to Iowa Sales Tax and depending on the point of delivery, local option tax. You need a Bill of Sale from the seller, current registration (expire 2010) and a title if the boat is 17’ or longer.

Passport fees are now $97.00 for ages 16 & older and $82.00 for ages 15 & under. Please apply early to avoid expedite fees. Processing times (up to 10 weeks) are longer due to the number of passport requests. For questions log onto: travel.state.gov.

The Union County Website is up and running. Please log onto unioncountyiowa.org. Forms are available to request a vital record, marriage application, passport application or boat bill of sale form.
